The story behind the name.

KarryForward is named after the accounting idea of carrying a balance forward — taking what works, discarding what doesn't, and moving into the next period sharper than the last. That's the principle behind every engagement.

The firm was founded by a finance transformation professional with hands-on experience across ERP post-implementation, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, risk metrics, and automation projects. The focus has always been on the applied side of finance: models, dashboards, and frameworks that improve how an organization actually makes decisions, runs controls, and measures performance.

Most finance work fails not because the numbers are wrong, but because the tools get in the way. KarryForward exists to remove that friction — with resources and advisory shaped by what works in practice, not what reads well in a proposal.
